Matchroom Boxing have done it again, with a stunning card at the Copperbox Arena in east london.
The show kicked off with Louie Ward debuting is professional career with a strong 4-rounder.
Followed by Taylor Bevan with another undeniable finish, a monster in the division with every win coming by way of knock out (stoppage or TKO)
Next up was Adam MACA, making it 5/5 in wins, with a stoppage himself. He’s getting better every outing.
Finally on the prelims was Connor Mitchell with a strong few rounds under his belt, with his dad ringside.
NOW for the undercard… wow.
Leli BUTTIGIEG and Jake Goodwin entered a war. Leli was pulled into deep waters with the Doncaster fighter and the rounds were slipping away… however Leli pulled the win back into his own hands with a BRUTAL knock out in the 9th round. Hoping jake recovers well.
Next was Jimmy Sains vs Derrick OSAZE. Another tough night for the matchroom side of the equation. Derrick is a tough and awkward fighter, unpredictable shots and unorthodox rhythms. Jimmy came away with the win but it has sparked a lot of controversy as to whether or not that was the right call…
Then we had the sensations British prospect Giorgio visioli against Levi Giles. Showing how truly skilled he is, Visioli won the fight by total shut out. Winning every round. Levi dared to be great, but Visioli could be on his way to generational greatness.
FINALLY we had, probably my favourite fight I’ve ever got to witness.
EVERY ROUND was exciting. Tyler Denny and George Liddard deserve every ounce of their flowers and accolades for the 12 rounds of boxing they gave us. Definitely George’s toughest fight to date, Tyler took a couple of rounds to find his rhythm and then got into a flow, pulling George into a fight that felt more fitting to his style. But George rose to the challenge coming out on top. A close fight and a round of the year contender in round 11!
